Information about the shop and me

Since 2007, I have been offering engraved Elven rings and have convinced a long list of satisfied customers through my offering and service. I run the Elven Ring Forge as a hobby project and a balance alongside my actual job as an IT project manager.

It all started with a gift idea for a friend, which was so well-received that more orders from 'Lord of the Rings' fans from the circle of friends followed, and it eventually turned into a business idea.

Personally, it brings me a lot of joy to help my customers bring their own ideas to life and to be part of the stories behind the rings. Individually designed rings are almost always connected to an emotional and humanly touching story. A ring can be a gift for a special occasion, convey an important message, or be the outward sign and symbol of a deep and lasting connection at an engagement or wedding.
When I sometimes receive pictures or someone writes to me about how the rings have been received and what they have triggered, it is also enriching and fulfilling for me. That's why I do it.

At the beginning, the hand-engraved rings were the focus (which of course are still available), but over time, the focus has shifted to laser-engraved rings because laser processing with its tremendous precision and detail capabilities opens up entirely different possibilities. This allows for significantly longer texts on a ring and ultimately offers endless opportunities to be creative and implement not only texts but also graphics.

An 'Elven ring' does not have a direct counterpart in the works of Tolkien and the Lord of the Rings universe. In my imagination, Elven rings are like smaller sisters and brothers of the well-known magical Rings of Power, carrying important personal messages and charged with the magic of the underlying story. Also the rings modeled after the universally known One Ring are inspired by it, but not replicas or direct reproductions.
